MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Where oh were has 2011 gone?!  And, where oh where did my blog posts go after April?  Well, turns out we had a very, very busy Summer and Fall!  I'm also soooo very close to releasing the new Photo by Jamie Photography website that most of my efforst have been directed towards the new site rather than the blog.  I had so many inspirational weddings and portrait sessions in 2011 and I can't wait to share them with you on the new website and going forward I'll be posting my latest work on this blog and my Facebook Page.  I thought I'd start out the 2012 blog with my absolute all time favorite subject, my daughter, Adeline, who amazes me everyday and fills me with more joy than I thought possible.

I feel soo honored to have gotten to photograph baby William Thomas English IV, son of William and Ashley English.  Ashley English is owner of our FAVORITE bridesmaid dress boutique Bella Bridesmaid, which was the site for our photo shoot.

Company Makeover

Your Life as Art

I can't think of a more beautiful subject than your life as artwork for your home!  Here are some examples of great ways to display your favorite photos as art in the home. 

 A series of photos printed on Canvas is one of my favorite ways to display photos, especially with kids, it lets you show off all the different sides of their personality!

 A 15x30 Canvas collage can be displayed hanging or resting on a ledge!

 Here's a sneak peek at our new studio, this is the office area, I love the gorgeous landscape shot of a bride and groom on the edge of a dock, it's so peaceful and abstract.  This piece is printed on fine art watercolor (giclee) and then placed behind a 4-ply archival matte for a very fine art, archival look.  A big thank you to Marsha Faulkner of Studio M Interior Design for coming up with the look for our new studio, I can't wait to show you the finished product!
